ICT Distribution is a leading APAC technology distributor focused on strengthening the region’s end-to-end supply chain. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, ICT specializes in enterprise hardware, software, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and advanced IT solutions. 

About the Role 

The Country Manager – Sales (Australia) will oversee ICT’s commercial operations across Australia, driving enterprise growth, channel success, and vendor alignment. Australia is a core strategic market for ICT, requiring strong leadership and technology distribution expertise. 

Responsibilities 

Strategic Sales Leadership 
  • Develop country-wide growth strategies, revenue goals, and account plans. 
  • Lead sales forecasting, budget planning, and market expansion. 
Channel Ecosystem Development 
  • Strengthen relationships with major distributors, resellers, cloud providers, and integrators. 
  • Recruit and enable partners aligned with ICT’s portfolio and expansion goals. 
Vendor Engagement 
  • Coordinate closely with Supermicro, cybersecurity, cloud, and software vendors. 
  • Ensure product availability, pricing accuracy, and promotional alignment. 
Enterprise & Corporate Sales 
  • Engage enterprise customers across government, finance, healthcare, and retail. 
  • Lead major account negotiations and bid responses. 
Market Insights 
  • Monitor Australia’s ICT landscape, competition, pricing trends, and regulations. 
  • Identify high-growth opportunities and new product lines. 
Reporting & Leadership 
  • Provide structured reporting, insights, and performance metrics to APAC leadership. 
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, presales, and operations. 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or related field. 
  • 10–15+ years of ICT sales experience in Australia. 
  • Strong network with Australian enterprise and channel partners. 
  • Experience working with global technology vendors. 
Skills 
  • Strong leadership and negotiation capabilities. 
  • Excellent market and customer insight. 
  • Strong communication and strategic thinking. 
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
